I seriously haven't seen the kids more excited, or having so much fun, for anything else than Team XSAMA classes. They obviously LOVE the Martial Arts and Parkour classes. MC, Sensei, and his Sempais work so well and positively with the kids! So untraditional... Lol. I, too, have such a great time just seeing how much fun the kids are having, and socializing, and learning, and exercising. It's so funny how MC can make the kids start laughing just by looking at them. Haha.

My kids have been attending this school for almost 2 months now, and they have learned quite a bit. My 6 year old son is a bit defiant by doing things when he wants and his way, but MC does a great job redirecting him and keeping it positive.

As William Arthur Ward Says: "The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires. " My son is 6 yrs old with blue belt and he has been at "Team XSAMA" for more than 1 year now . Blue belt testing was a challenge for him and Master Corey was his inspiration to fight for it. I am blessed to have my son with the most understanding and caring instructor. Thanks MC for your encouragement and all your hard work🙏

I send my 5 year old boy to the class and he has so much fun. And it's also fun for the parents watching them doing punches, kicking,etc. There is one instructor with several other older kids helping out ensuring every kids in the class gets the attention and practice they need...just wonderful.

I signed my 5 year old up for their summer class, he loved it. Everyday was a blast and the Sensei was the amazing, he was great with the kids. We will be back!

I've been meaning to review Team XSAMA for a long time to say how much my kids love this school. I'm not one to write online reviews (never have before), but Corey (MC) has developed a truly unique and interesting program. We signed our two kids up due to the variety of classes offered - martial arts, tumbling, parkour. We figured it would hold their interest for awhile and they'd learn some useful skills. It's now 3+ years later and they STILL are learning new skills and challenged each week. It's not only held their interest, but they attend more often now than when they started. They also are learning leadership skills as student instructors where they can help the newer students. My daughter also was able to practice a routine with other students and audition for America's Got Talent, which was an awesome experience. I never expected my daughters to stick with a program this long since after school activities tend to come and go over time. I think that they like that it's fun to go to class, while at the same time they are acquiring skills not everybody can do (back tucks, multiple back handsprings, scaling 8' equipment) and working their way to higher belts. Personally, I like the emphasis on safety and respect. I highly recommend Team XSAMA!

Our kids love the classes and look forward to them everyday. It's rare to find a school that incorporates so many different sports into a comprehensive lifestyle for kids. The owner is passionate about the children and engaging their minds as well as furthering their physical skills. I would wholeheartedly recommend XSAMA!

Team XSAMA is not only a Martial Arts Academy, but a place where your kids learn how to be organized, confident and successful students. You have the feeling like you are a family member in this school. This is the way MC Corey(the owner) makes you feel. He treats you with respect and he is a caring , charming person. He make students feel they are successful and he really cares about them. Sometimes he is strict , but in a good way, he never pushes the kids or make them feel stressed. He knows how to motivate the students to do their best. My kids love MC and they have a blast practicing their martial arts skills, they feel more confident in themselves. this was a great help for my daughter that was very shy, not only my kids enjoy it, but the whole family! Tumbling and parkour is an specialty of this school and it is the best out there!

Fantastic studio! The Owner/MC Corey has great connections with the kids which shows because my boys (9 & 10) are always excited for class. Love the mix of martial arts, parkour, tumbling and leadership instruction which builds the whole child. Highly recommend.

First time for parkour class and open gym and my 6yr old and I had a great time. The teacher is passionate and generous and was able to challenge and encourage both my son and I at very different levels. We had a blast!

I have been going to this school for 5 years now and I have learned more than I ever thought I could with martial arts and life lessons. This school offers a huge variety of things to learn from exciting parkour and tricking classes to leadership classes and regular core classes all in one place. It has been a privilege to see this school grow and prosper and I think that everyone should be a part of it.

This might be my first ever Yelp review. My daughter attended this school for a few years and learned so much in self-discipline, self-defense and leadership. MC gets to know the kids individually and has worked with special needs children too. The only time he sends the children to the parents are under special circumstances. It could be a personal choice by the parent or he has had to remind them so many times, that he is not going to take away his attention form the rest of the class. To think that you, as a parent, has a "free hour" to not parent is just plain lazy. The "student teachers" are called Sempais and it's part of the program. The kids are not going to be rewarded just for showing up, they have to prove themselves and show improvements.

This place is amazing!!! My kids started attending Team XSAMA almost 2 years ago and have learned so much. Sensai Parys is the best. He keeps classes fun and upbeat while instilling discipline and respect in the students. He has trained equally amazing Sempais (student teachers) that engage their students and keep them focused on training. My children definitely want to "become the black belt within" and have never complained about "having" to go to martial arts...and they train almost everyday! 

If you are looking for a dojo for your little ninja or even if you have ninja dreams of your own (they have adult martial arts and adult kick boxing classes) this is a great choice.
